The Department of Research and Innovation is an operational structure of OUC, without legal personality, whose mission is to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the university's policies in the field of scientific research, technological development and innovation (RDI) as well as artistic creation. To accomplish its mission DRI:
provides the organizational and informational framework for the elaboration, implementation and development of RDI policies of the OUC, ensuring the executive support for the activities of the RDI Council and the Bio-Ethics Commission
provides logistical support, counseling and assistance to the members of the academic community for the preparation, submission and development of RDI projects;
offers support for establishing national and international partnerships with higher education and research institutions, organizations, associations and business companies active in the field of RDI or interested in technological transfer;
collects and reports to the ministry RDI data, assists in the development of analyzes and studies on RDI activities in the OUC, promotes European performance standards in scientific research, in university ethics and deontology.
