The Department of EU funded projects is an organizational structure without legal personality in accordance with the decision of the „Ovidius” University Senate board no. 1398 of 2014, November 13th.
DPFE aims at coordinating the access to external and national financing and implementation of projects, as a matter of priority in both education and professional training. It coordinates the participation of the "Ovidius" University in EU Structural Funds programmes, the development of European projects proposals by departments, faculties and other units of the university, and monitorizes projects implementation.
In terms of hierarchy DPFE is subordinate to the Rector of Ovidius University of Constanta and to the Vice-rector for Institutional development, economic relationship with the environment and local community.
DPFE is divided into two offices: Consultancy in accessing EU funding Office and Office of implementation of EU projects.
The office activity is conducted within Ovidius University of Constanta.
